Charity prepares for fun and games at first thank you party
A charity has come up with a novel way of thanking their fundraisers and supporters – by throwing a Mad Hatter Tea Party.
Sunday’s inaugural thank you event by GeeWizz will see charity donors meet the Suffolk-based families they have helped.
Fun and games for all the family will be held at Milsom’s Kesgrave Hall with charity founder Gina Long believing it is crucial that GeeWizz supporters know how they have made a difference to families across Suffolk.
Gina said: “GeeWizz was set up with transparent fundraising running through the heart of the charity.
“Whenever anyone supports GeeWIzz, whether through donating or supporting our events, I want them to know exactly where every penny is going.
“The Mad Hatter Tea Party gives an ideal opportunity to greet both our supporters and the families GeeWizz has supported for what should be a very special and very fun afternoon.”
The event, which is supported by Suffolk Magazine, Coastline Graphics and Milsom Hotels and Restaurants, will include fun and games for all the family.
Children’s entertainment, garden games and face painting are all planned set around the Mad Hatter theme.
