Global Enterprise Week (GEW) is an international initiative that introduces entrepreneurship to young people across six continents. In response to GEW, the students of West Suffolk College, who have recently named GeeWizz as their Charity of the Year, set up a fortnight of money-making, FUNdraising activities, to raise money for the charity, who supports young children and families in the local area.

A series of local entrepreneurs including, Scott Russell of Paddy and Scott’s, Jeanette Dennis of Ashtons Legal, Andrew Long of R L Long Farms, joined by representatives of BBC Radio Suffolk, Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, and Gina Long MBE, Founder of GeeWizz Charity, took part in a Q&A with the students, at West Suffolk College on Friday 17th November 2017.

The event also marked the launch of the West Suffolk College student’s fortnight of fundraising, where they hosted a quiz night, a head shave, a bucket collection, and took part in 24 Sports in 24 Hours.
