Christmas 2018 is set to be the best Christmas yet, with seven GeeWizz events ranging from Christmas Light Switch On Events to Festive Fun Shopping Days.

We are excited to share our festive schedule with you all.

Hatter Street Christmas Light Switch On and Independent Retailers Raffle

Festive fun had by everyone! We are extremely grateful to all of the Retailers supporting the first Hatter Street Opening for Christmas Light Switch on and Retailers Raffle.

Huge thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets and supported the evening, raising £1890.72 for our local charity and the Jasmine Appeal.

Newmarket Christmas Light Switch On

We are so proud of the generous, hugely talented Amado Capello Choir at West Suffolk College giving their precious time collecting at the Newmarket Christmas Lights Switch On.

Thanks to the Newmarket BID team, Graham, Di and Lesley and Love Newmarket for making GeeWizz their Charity of the Year.

Ben Haenow was a such a great guy, with an amazing performance during the Christmas Lights Switch On Show.

Clarkes of Walsham Christmas Shopping Evening

Fantastic festive evening at Clarkes of Walsham Ltd Country Store! Huge thank you to the generous Clarkes of Walsham team who so kindly donated designer children’s clothing to GeeWizz to sell and set up a raffle raising a total of £1419.18 in aid of GeeWizz Charity.

Many customers took advantage of the discounts with up to 60% off the Children’s Clothing items. There are still many sale item left, which be available to purchase at the GeeWizz Christmas Shopping Day at FOLKcafé in Fornham St Martin on the 8th of December!

Well done to the raffle winners, Clarkes will be in touch later today! We hope you enjoy your prizes!

The Salvation Army “Carols for All” Concert 

Charity giving, from one special charity to another this Christmas.

An enjoyable evening had by all, at The Stowmarket Salvation Army Core group “Carols for all” Concert held at Violet Hill Road, Stowmarket on Wednesday 5th December.

Kindly organised by John and Anne Daborn, with special guests being the Stowmarket Town Mayor CLR Linda Baxter and Consort Shirley Bonner and GeeWizz Charity Founder Gina Long MBE.

The congregation generously presented the cheque of £2,128.14 to Gina, Andrew long and Crystal Barber on behlaf of GeeWizz Charity which will be carefully spent on specialist equipment which will be presented by The Stowmarket Salvation Army Core group in 2019.
