Paula Webb Stainton is a professional Curator/Producer of high profile international Exhibitions and Events for clients from Pink Floyd to McLaren Formula One. Dublin born, Paula’s career began as Client Manager and Producer in Ad Agencies in Dublin, London and New York, before managing Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason’s action vehicle props company Ten Tenths and Bamboo Music, producing Music scores for films and jingles for commercials, as well as organising Tour events for Pink Floyd.
Paula co-curated, together with Aubrey ‘Po’ Powell/Hipgnosis, Pink Floyd: ‘Their Mortal Remains’ Exhibition at the V&A, London; MACRO Rome; The Dortmunder U, Dortmund, IFEMA, Madrid and is currently preparing to open it in Los Angeles, August 2021. ‘Their Mortal Remains’ was Paula’s second exhibition for the Band as together with Storm Thorgerson/Hipgnosis, she curated Pink Floyd ‘Interstellar’ Exhibition at the Citié de la Musique, Paris in 2003.
For over 25 years Paula has given support to numerous charities as a committee member, PR and organiser including: Tommy’s Campaign, UK’s largest charity for research into miscarriage, premature and still birth; MediCinema builds, installs and manages cinemas in hospitals for patients undergoing treatment for complex illness and is delighted to be an Ambassador for GeeWizz following on from being part of the team to deliver their incredibly successful ‘Ed Sheeran:Made in Suffolk’ Charity auction in 2020.
